There is a difference when joining our Big Blue Collective. There always has been. We started to be different and do it differently to the “others”. For us it was always about the environment, the experience, the adventure, the moment and most of all small groups. Some days are better than others for some things and some days are only bad for some activities. Some places are only truly accessible and amazing at certain times. Our local knowledge of deciding where and when to go is always done while balancing the current conditions with the expectations and comfort level of our guests. Many of our best experiences happen precisely because we are open and ready for anything to happen and are prepared to take advantage of the opportunities natures’ random magic presents us with. We are driven by our collective passion to connect and interact with the watery world that surrounds us and makes up every part of these islands we call home. In one way shape or form we love to get out there; be it underwater on the reef, out in the open ocean with dolphins, paddling deep in the mangroves, using the wind to ride across the turquoise flats or missioning on a boat to some remote island. Sharing our love for of these islands is what drives us to improve, learn and evolve year on year. We are guides at heart, committed to showing you the absolute best these islands have to offer. We know where, to go, when to go and where to find the magic. Above all else, we love what we do. Join us. Experience the difference. Escape the ordinary.

a month agoFor my first trip to Turks and Caicos, I did a kiteboarding lesson and the Edge of the Banks snorkel adventure. My 2 hour private kiteboarding lesson was with Lou (and Tom graciously kept checking in on us to help take photos/videos and made sure we stayed hydrated in the heat!). Lou was super patient and an amazing instructor and even though I have never done any board sports and don’t know how to fly a kite, I am officially addicted and can’t wait to try it again! I did the Edge of the Banks tour with Gus and Kay, both who were very informative and made the excursion super fun. We had a small private group on a beautiful day. Kay took us out and we saw sea turtle, many fishes including barracuda, little jellyfishes and a lot more sharks than I anticipated but they were beautiful and with Kay, he always made our group feel safe! The water was so many shades of blue and they always had snacks for us when we got out of the water! The lunch was delicious as was the rum punch. Yes these adventures are on the pricier side on the island, but I would do them again in a heartbeat and I promise you they are definitely worth it!

5 months agoThis was an absolutely amazing tour. Our tour guide Bailey was kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. She was in the water with us the whole time and took great care to provide us with all the relevant information about the wildlife and areas we were snorkeling. We had a total of 8 people on our tour and it was phenomenal. Compared to some of the other tour companies that had like 20-30 people ours felt unique in that we were so small. It was as close to a private tour as you can get without spending crazy money. Our captain Gustavo was fantastic! He stopped and let us check out the local dolphins. The free shuttle to and from our resort was a great bonus. Big Blue Collective absolutely killed it!

4 months agoWe went out on July 18, 2025 and had the MOST fantastic time on the Edge of the Banks full-day snorkeling tour. Initially we thought it was only for divers, but it's actually designed for enthusiastic snorkelers. Fresh snacks provided after each snorkeling session (we went to 3 locations, and 1 beach stop), such a fruits and chips. Lunch was buffet-style of curried fish, meats, rice, coleslaw salad, and premixed rum drinks were incredible enjoyed on the beach break. The Kusi boat was comfortable, modern and clean, top-class. We liked Big Blue so much that we went back the next day to get paddleboards and venture out to the mangroves. Saw tons of turtles as promised! Professional and informative team, extra shout-out to Gus the captain and Mickey our adventurous guide who spotted all the critters we hoped to see!

4 months agoWe had an amazing experience! Hugo and Dre were amazing guides, And ensured that we had a one-of-a-kind snorkeling experience. The company on as a whole was super accommodating when I mistakenly forgot to finalize our reservation. They quickly arranged for a boat for us without missing a beat! They provided us an event whose memories will last us a lifetime!

in the last weekThis was our second boat and snorkel experience on the island. We would highly recommend this company. They picked us up at our nearby hotel for the excursion. They have a well run organization located on the docks where a few large yachts dock. We were introduced to our guide, Mikey and our boat operator, Gestovo. Mikey is a biologist and very knowledgeable about the fish and underwater vegetation. We were on the half day eco tour. It was plenty of time to visit two snorkel areas. They are efficient so there was almost an hour of water time at each stop. On the second stop the group witnessed a reef shark eating an octopus for breakfast. It was quite something. The shark had no interest in the group! I always felt safe and in good hands. There is plenty of water, juice and a fruit snack provided. Just bring a towel and reef safe sun screen! Have fun.
