Kite Provo

My son and I had a great experience at Kite Provo. Our instructors were Connor and Ruben and they were fantastic. Great instruction, very positive, real time feedback and fun people to spend time with on the water. Our riding improved considerably in a short period of time and we had a blast doing it. Unfortunately, we had some wind challenged days, but Mateusz did a great job with communication and shifting times around to squeeze some more time on the water. Kite Provo is a great place to learn with shallow water, soft sand bottom and plenty of space to ride. They use jet skis for rider support and instruction and even took some great video footage that they shared with us. Our only regret is that we were not able to spend more days riding. We are already looking to plan another trip to Turks next year and will definitely be returning to Kite Provo. Thanks for a fantastic experience!

We had an amazing experience with Kite Provo! If you're looking to get into kiteboarding, pull the trigger and head down to Provo. Truly no better place in the world to learn the sport—an absolutely enormous bay of gorgeous warm water that you can stand in for miles out from shore. Scheduling was super easy with Matt, including moving things around based on wind conditions as needed. Highly recommend doing what we did and leaving a few extra days on the end of your trip unscheduled in case you need to push back a lesson or two due to lack of wind. Connor was our instructor for the week and had us up and riding in no time...everything was super smooth & I couldn't recommend more highly!

Mari, Ruben and Connor are outstanding instructors! Their patience with the three of us newbies was very much appreciated and allowed us to fully commit to the learning curve. We appreciated their honesty when relaying current wind conditions and their willingness to adapt our schedule to make the best use of the wind. Their senses of humour made the lessons fun, even when frustration kicked in. We wholeheartedly recommend Kite Provo and we’re excited to continue our kite boarding journey!

An absolute highlight of our trip to Provo! We did the mangrove SUP tour with Matez, and it was incredible. We saw dozens of sea turtles, baby lemon sharks, and stingrays in crystal-clear water. Matez was a fantastic guide—patient, knowledgeable about the ecosystem, and great at helping us get the perfect photos. Even during the busy holiday season, the channels felt peaceful and uncrowded. It’s beginner-friendly and worth every penny. Pro tip: Queer, Transgender, Gay and Lesbian friendly.

We booked wingfoil lessons with Mati at Kite Provo and couldn’t be happier. Mati is a fantastic instructor: calm, extremely patient, and genuinely skilled at breaking things down step-by-step so you make progress without feeling rushed. He was also very flexible, adapting the lesson plan to the conditions and to our level, which made the whole experience feel personalized rather than “one size fits all.” Kite Provo was also great to deal with overall. They were very responsive, super honest, and straightforward about what was realistic for us to achieve. The equipment was high-quality and well maintained, which made a big difference for confidence and safety. If you’re considering learning wingfoiling or leveling up, I can only recommend them. Huge thanks to Mati. My brother and I are leaving with real skills and a clear plan to keep improving.
