M & J’s Charters

M&J’s charter exceeded my expectations! This was a last-minute decision to get out of that damn resort and get out on the water, and I’m so glad we did. I made one phone call, and they immediately put together a custom day that fit everything we wanted to do in a short amount of time. AJ and Patrick even came right to the resort to pick us up. I walked down to the beach about 20 minutes early, and they were already there, anchored up and waiting for us. We packed in reef fishing, Iguana Island, Noah’s Ark, and a run out to the shipwreck. They didn’t just check boxes—they did everything we wanted and more. I’ll absolutely be back, and we’ll 100% be going out with them again!

We had the best time fishing with Ajay and Patrick! It was definitely one of the highlights from our trip! They were professional and a ton of fun! We also CAUGHT a ton of fish! Highly recommend this charter company! (Take your fish to Mr Groupers afterwards! It was our favorite meal!)

We absolutely loved our experience with M&J’s Charters! Patrick & AJ were super friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had a great time! They were so fun! They also supply local beer, soda, water, and snacks. We caught a whopping 7 tuna and they filleted them for us immediately following the charter. We made them for lunch the next day and they were absolutely delicious! Jacket, the owner, picked us up from the charter and gave us a ride back to our resort. He was so cool and we loved chatting with him! I would recommend this excursion to anyone and everyone visiting Turks and Caicos. Deep sea fishing with M&J’s is a MUST! 🎣 🌊

Highlight of our trip! AJ and Patrick were the BEST guides - super knowledgeable, kind and funny. They made sure to ask what experiences we wanted during our half day charter. We got to experience beautiful secluded places and a couple of touristy places while making sure we were the first there. They also had a special surprise at the end that was truly an experience of a lifetime!! Highly recommend M&J Charters!!

M&J Does it Again ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I was so thrilled with a girls trip to Turks in March 2025 (see that review below) that I asked these guys when I should bring my husband and kids back — they said early summer so here we are! Again, M&J’s Charter provided THE HIGHLIGHT and THE BEST DAY of the trip! Captain AJ and mate Patrick welcomed me back and my family with open arms! While they appealed to me initially because their charters are clearly for the water-sports-enthusiast at heart, they set themselves apart both times with their incredible service! Who can ask for better than the nicest, warmest guides taking you to THE BEST spots?! They were fantastic with our kids aged 12 and 10. There’s no way to adequately “review” guys that put you literally within feet of amazing stuff when you drop in the water: turtles (spot 1), fantastic coral and fascinating reef formations (spot 2), and water teeming with fish and an eagle ray (spot 3). But it gets better… these guys have such positive vibes that local celebrity dolphin Jojo swam over to visit us in our last spot! Our one goal was awesome snorkeling and they delivered above (my Floridian high level) expectations! Could not ask for a better time and guides on the water! And the best rum punch on the island to boot! Mily, I’m gonna be asking for fishing too next time! ————————————————————————— From March 2025 Trip: **EXCELLENT 10/10** I am an avid water sports and snorkeling native Floridian and our full day M&J charter was easily in my top 5 experiences out of countless excursions over 15+ islands in the Caribbean. Our captain and mate, AJ & Patrick, were some of the best crew I’ve ever had. Most impressed with: preparedness, perfect blend of professional but kind and genuine desire for us to have the best experience, local knowledge of where to take us… and getting us to the best spots first. They went above and beyond with food and drink and a few special surprises! The full day trip with lunch is definitely worth it. Only downside to our trip was the weather (wind) prevented us from hitting one very desirable location, but it was clearly the right decision. Book it, you won’t be disappointed — coming from someone with high expectations for an authentic local experience and a lot of time on the water. Mily, go ahead and put me down for the next one!
